Trixie Scraps September

It has been another amazing month for Trixie and I just love all of my layouts!!

First up is September Templatetopia - Meeting the Teacher is always a fun part of the new school year! I used the Apples for Teacher collection.

Autumn Spice is an amazing collab with Connie Prince and Aprilisa Designs available at My Scrapbook Art.

My little buddy gave me such a sweet smile when getting on the bus the 1st day of school! The New Kid in Class collection was perfect my layout!

I just love how our family photo turned out and I'm hoping to turn this into a canvas! Picture a Family is available at Scrap Stacks.

Whimsical Ideas by Pam - Crazy Daisies

Summer is still here (at least the weather this week still seems like it) and so is my manicure! When I first saw this polish I knew I had to have it. I just adore yellow and flowers! Crazy Daisies is a sheer yellow polish with orange flowers and some small hex glitter. It was also named by her niece. Since it is so sheer I used 1 coat of Sinful Colors Unicorn and then 2 coats of Crazy Daisies. I had no problem with getting the flower glitter out of the bottle. I love all of the details that she places on her polish such as the cute fonts and bows on the bottles!  I'm looking forward to seeing what Pam comes up with for her Fall/Halloween collection! Hit Polish Pennies from Heaven New for Fall!

Hit Polish's new fall polish collection just came out yesterday and let me tell it is just amazing! I could not wait to put on Pennies from Heaven - a rose shimmer with copper and gold fine glitters, and holographic and metallic glitters in hex, square and dot shapes. Photos don't do this polish justice. The base colors is so beautiful and the glitters look just AMAZING in any light! I used a base coat, 2 coats of polish, and 2 coats of top coat to smooth out the feeling of glitter.

August Layouts from Trixie Scraps

Happy almost September! I want to share some of the layouts that I created this past month with Trixie Scraps Designs. Here I am a few years back!! I used the Scouting is for Girls {Full Kit} by North Meets South Studios (Connie Prince & Trixie Scraps) and Greatest Hits vol 9 Template Pack.

Next up is my new desktop background and I created it with That's My Boy kit.

Last, but not least is a photo of my mom and uncle from the 1950's. I just love how the photo works with the color combination! I used Riding with Boys kit, alphas and Standing Alone V.4 templates for the layout.

KBShimmer Candy Cane Crush Polish

My latest manicure includes such a cool polish from KBShimmer - Candy Cane Crush. It is loaded with red and white hex glitters in many different sizes. I can see so many layering options with this polish. For a fun summer manicure I layered it over a bright hot pink - Creme Pink from Sinful Colors. Hit Polish Lotsa Dotsa

I'm a bit obsessed with nail polish and I love glitters!! Hit Polish makes AMAZING glitters, crellys, jellys, shimmers and so much more! This is one of my favorites - Lotsa Dotsa! I layered it over OPI Don't Touch My Tutu. The glitter is so easy to apply and I didn't have to fish for all the different sizes. I also think this would be amazing as a jelly sandwich!
